reaction project

I don't have a picture of my reaction project but it's safe to say i hated it. i worked really hard and was searching too hard for perfection and definitely didn't find it. i wish i went with something simpler and less strenuous.

museum

i saw this and i liked it because of its simplicity and i liked the texture
at first, i didnt like this one but once i got closer the textures were really cool.
i dont like this one because it looks like colorful vomit.

Final Blog Post

In my opinion, my most successful piece this semester was my charcoal butterfly which was the first project we did. I don't have a picture of the final product but I think this picture gets the point across. It is my favorite because of how detailed and unique it is. I spent so much time working on it that I definitely connect with the piece. The butterfly definitely shows my skills in shading which I like about it as well. Overall, this is my favorite piece because of the time and skill that went into this piece. im very proud of it and it is definitely one of my favorite pieces I've done not only in this class, but in my whole lifetime.
In my opinion this is my least successful piece. I believe that it is my least successful because I just think it was poorly executed. the beads are too big and are hard to fit around the chinese symbols and the shape in also impractical. I actually liked the idea of my project a lot better than the actual outcome. the original was supposed to be a crown that could hang on the wall and I wanted it to be gold. I wish I followed through with what I originally planned. Overall, this is my least favorite and least successful because of how impractical it is and how I didn't follow through with what I originally planned.
